      <description>hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I have two systems when i do normal login i am able to login to system. when i login directly as root not able to login. able to login as root from console.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;no /etc/securetty file .&lt;BR /&gt;suxde060 # ssh suxde061&lt;BR /&gt;Password:&lt;BR /&gt;Connection closed by 10.55.145.235&lt;BR /&gt;abadguja as root@suxde060 [/root/.ssh]&lt;BR /&gt;suxde060 #&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;   In sshd_config, there is a parameter named "PermitRootLogin", just set it to NO and restart your ssh daemon. Then it wont allow root login with ssh.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks</description>
