Hi,

Can you please advise what's the purpose of /opt/sfm/vacuum? I'm running hp-ux 11.31 and this command is in crontab. Problem is, that in last days it has exist status 1.

All I understood is it is fault System Fault Management Tool. :)

Me too there to know more on this.

Who knows. CIM, and SFM in particular, aren't exactly mature products and come with all sorts of what appears to be cleaners monitors. It's been like that for a while. For instance, look at the man page of cimserverd. That's not reassuring. The only thing I can advise you to do is not to remove it.

If there is no obvious logfile with an error message that you can correct, you should contact the Response Center.
