Hi What is the deal with hpux 11.31 xterm services.Looks like i'm not able to use reflection x anymore to connect to one of my ia box running 11.31 - What needs to be set up in order for my xwindows working on this box.
Please advice ..Vue was replaced by cde and cde is seperate install from 11.31 ..is there something that is replaced cde in default os.

description. It does not say what you did.
It does not say what happened when you did
it.

Not much of a description of the hardware,
either, but that probably matters less.

hi,

if i understand correctly you cannot use xterm.

with 11.31, CDE is not installed by default, as you seem to know. so if this is not installed then simply install the bundle on the server and you will be able to use Xterm.

nothing has replaced it, just not installed as default anymore.

You are correct. There have been many questions about using cde / xterm / dtterm in 11.31. It seems to be full of bugs including not a default installation. So check first,

swlist -l | grep -i CDE
