LP print requests after reboot ?

I lost all my print requests in one of my HPUX server with oS 11.11 . Is this normal ? Will lp print requests remain in the server after a reboot?. Is this something we can configure in startup scripts ? .
Please let me know if you have any info on this .

yes , this is a normal .once you will restart your server all print requests will be gone only those jobs will be printed that will already sent to printer scheduler
