      <description>Hi All,&lt;BR /&gt;Could someone tell me what is exactly problem here? &lt;BR /&gt;output:&lt;BR /&gt;# lanadmin -x 0&lt;BR /&gt;The link is down. The speed and other link state information&lt;BR /&gt;are undefined. The configuration specified for this card is:&lt;BR /&gt;Speed = 1000 or 100 or 10 Mbps.&lt;BR /&gt;Autonegotiation = On.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I know my cable and port is working fine..since i already test it.</description>

      <description>lanscan ( to get lan info )&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;check on NMID ( e.g 4 )  (NMID -- different ethernet has diff NMID)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;run lanadmin -x(lower case)  4(NMID) ( to display  the card current speed &amp;amp; duplex )&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;the output will be   Current Speed = 100 Half Duplex&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;next&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;run lanadmin -X(upper case)  100FD  4 (NMID) ( this command will force the ethernet card change from Half_Duplex to Full_Duplex. &lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>&amp;gt;&amp;gt;I know my cable and port is working fine..since i already test it.&amp;lt;&amp;lt;&amp;lt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Does you lan0 -&amp;gt; has been configured has you network interface ?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Double Confirm with "netstat -in"&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;look for * -&amp;gt; before you Lan interface , if you have one , looks like (link down)</description>

      <description>Hello,&lt;BR /&gt; The fundemantal problem is that the other end is not up or not connected! so this link is marked down, or you have more than one lan port .&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Please post all the output from the commands requested above. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If lanscan shows more than one ppa please post the mib stats info for all of them.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Also please post OS release and patch bundle level and system model and the output of ioscan -fnClan .  &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Mike</description>

      <description>Hello, &lt;BR /&gt;      I am sorry for the last message my connection go stuck while I was trying to reply. &lt;BR /&gt;The link on ppa 0 is not currently up and this might not be mapped to lan0. &lt;BR /&gt;Please provide the output of lanscan as well.&lt;BR /&gt; Since you have four ethernet ports you need this to tell which physical instance is mapped to which ppa number and to which lanx instance. The link on ppa 0 is not currently up.  Once they are matched you can run the lanadmin -g commands mentioned earlier for each ppa number you get.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Mike  &lt;BR /&gt;</description>
