    <description>Hello,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Make changes in inetd.conf and enable logging:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;# grep ^tftp /etc/inetd.conf &lt;BR /&gt;tftp        dgram  udp  wait   root /usr/lbin/tftpd -l   tftpd &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Now, start do tftp transfer from command line and check for tftpd messages in /var/adm/syslog/syslog.log&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Also check if UDP port is enabled in the firewall.</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I get the following error message when I am trying to add clients to my Ignite server.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;nfs mount: get_fh: ignitsvr:: RPC: Rpcbind failure - RPC: Timed outnfs mount: get_fh: ignitsvr:: RPC: Rpcbind failure - RPC: Timed&lt;BR /&gt;outnfs mount: retry: retrying(1)for: /var/opt/ignite/client.mnt  &lt;BR /&gt; after 5 secondsnfs mount: retry: giving up on: /var/opt/ignite/client.mntERROR: Failed to mount: "ignitsvr:/var/opt/ignite/clients"      &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Please help me to resolve this issue.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Many Thanks!&lt;BR /&gt;Pauline</description>

      <description>The above thread Johnson has posted is very good. I only make a small observation: If you NFS server is only a "server" - meaning that only exports filesystems, you do not need to start the client part.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;So in this case do not run &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;/sbin/init.d/nfs.client start.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;In fact, kill the client if you do not need it:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;/sbin/init.d/nfs.client stop&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Horia.&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Yes, I am able to ping as well transfer files via scp from Ignite server to client and vice versa.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;FTP is blocked as we have hardened these servers.</description>
