Kernel tuning in HP-UX is made through kernele parameters.

Use sam. But first, you should read of course the documentation for every parameter you want to change. Some parameters are dynamic meaning that can be applied "on the fly" some are not, meaning that you must reboot. sam would tell you which is wich.

Horia

What OS version are you using?
If you don't use SAM, you can use kmtune(1m) for 11.11, or kctune(1m) for 11.23 and on.
