      <description>Hi Team:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;We use NIS on 11.0. We want to implement Password Aging. What is the workaround? Also does NIS support /etc/default/security file so that we could implement PASSWORD_HISTORY_DEPTH feature.We do not want to go trusted.       <description>For information on the /etc/default/security file do a 'man security'.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;From the security man page:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;"The password history depth configuration is on a system basis and is supported in trusted system for users in files repository only.  This feature does not support the users in NIS or NISPLUS repositories."&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I also don't think there is an option in NIS for password aging.</description>
