      <description>Rajesh,&lt;BR /&gt;If you are looking for the Universal Unique Identifier Number that is the MAC id ,  use this command:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;# lanscan  &lt;BR /&gt;( Look for the "Station Address" in 2nd column of the output .) &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Cheers,&lt;BR /&gt;Raj.</description>

      <description>Are you referring to the system software ID number? That is found with: uname -i&lt;BR /&gt; &lt;BR /&gt;If you are looking for the serial number, that number is very dependent on which models you have.</description>
