      <description>The only other way is to enable auditing.  But interpreting the audit logs is much worse than the shell history file.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;What is unclear about the shell history file?  It is a list of commands the user has run from the Unix command prompt.  There are no dates or times in the file though.  The shell history file was not designed to be used as a audit or log file.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;What exactly are you looking for regarding "...getting the detail on what they have done in the system."?&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
