      <description>Gany,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Check this out: &lt;BR /&gt;# xd -An -j8200 -N16 -tx /dev/rdsk/cxtxdx   &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;3rd +4rth field = VGID .   1+2=PVID   3=CPUID.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;[ Where /dev/rdsk/cxtxdx is the PV of the VG ] &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You can also get the VGID when you take a map file backup using vgimport with -s option.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Cheers, &lt;BR /&gt;Have fun!,&lt;BR /&gt;Raj.</description>
