      <description>Hi Admins,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;i heard that pvdisplay -l &lt;DISK path=""&gt; is used to check the specific disk is under control of LVM.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;pvdisplay -l /dev/dsk/c0t0d0&lt;BR /&gt;/dev/dsk/c0t0d0:LVM_DISK=yes&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;But in my B.11.23 server shows value as NO.The same disk lists under /etc/lvmtab which is my root disk.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Please suggets on this&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards&lt;BR /&gt;Pavan&lt;/DISK&gt;</description>

      <description>Are you saying that this is your root disk?  The pvdisplay output, according to the man page, indicates that this "physical volume is not under LVM control".&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Pete</description>

      <description>Integrity server???&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;This is normal.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Try&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;pvdisplay -l /dev/dsk/c0t0d0s2&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;because "s2" is part of LVM only!</description>

      <description>Exactly:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;PV Name                     /dev/dsk/c3t0d0s2&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Only partition 2 of this disk is under LVM control, not the whole disk.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;This is normal, no need to worry.</description>
