Hi
I'm a SA working with the HP-UX from China.
Now I come across a very strange problem about the systime. We have a RP8400 host and these days the systime of it become 3 seconds faster per minute. And one day later, the time become more than one hour faster beyond the standard time.We couldn't use this host to do the business.
But in the BCH,we use the "CO TI" command to see the time and it is so correct！
We have tried to use some methods to solve this problem:
1.Change the backbone
2.Change the cell
3.Reinstall the OS
but all of above doesn't work
PS:the OS version is 11.11
Hope somebody could help me and thanks a lot!
Hi,

We faced a similar problem some time ago and we were unable to find the root cause of it. Anyway, we solved the issue by synchronizing the server with a ntp server. So if you can do it, it could be the solution.

Regards,
