      <description>If the server is up and running you can check the status of the MP lan card with CM&amp;gt;LS If you are looking for errors you can check the console log (MP&amp;gt;CL) or show event logs (MP&amp;gt;SL) and then format for text and l for last. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If the server is down do you have pa-risc or itanium architecture?       <description>If the OS is up, you can access system through console, meaning from MP login. Once you are log in, lanscan, lanadmin, netstat -in can give you full info regarding your LAN cards whethere up or down.</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;From MP , you can check MP LAN &lt;BR /&gt;MP&amp;gt;CM&amp;gt;LS&lt;BR /&gt;For system log&lt;BR /&gt;MP&amp;gt;CM&amp;gt;SL&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;But u can not check LAN from MP, for it u have to check it from OS&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;#lanscan &lt;BR /&gt;#ping &lt;BR /&gt;#vi /var/adm/syslog/syslog.log&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Cheers//&lt;BR /&gt;Taifur</description>
