    <description>I am having a HP-UX B.11.23 U ia64 server. I am running a Java application in it.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;It has a heap of 2Gb and when it spawns around 420 threads the application fails.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I want to how much memory can a process use in hp ux server.       <description>maxdsiz 167616512 / 2063835136&lt;BR /&gt;maxdsiz_64bit 46587904 / 7516192768&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;these are the parameter which define the data size of a process &amp;amp; the values are in bytes.. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The current setting limits are  2GB for 32bit application &amp;amp; 7GB for 64bit application&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Gudluck&lt;BR /&gt;Prasanth</description>

      <description>If you don't have any JNI, you can use -d64 to have java use 64 bit JVM.</description>
