Central Data collection

Hi Gurus,

We have around 300 Hpunix servers with 11.23 and 11.31 os,here for collecting information like vgdetails,wwwn,mount points details it needs to login in each i want to know is there any tool or script where i can do all this from central location.

you oculd use :

cfg2html or SysInfo.

cfg2html is the best tool i ever seen for this purpose.

http://www.cfg2html.com/

1.run cfg2html.sh from cron & create output
2. ftp the output file in to some central server through some script.

For cfgtool we need to login each server and need to run doing this on 300 servers is not easy task i am looking for tool where i can collect data centraly without logging to clientserver.

hi,

the solution that you recieved from us, it was free of charge, but if you klike some centralized solution, you need to look for an example HP Openview......
