Why don't you want to use glance? Is it beacuse you don't have it, or cos you think you can't get data out in the format you want?

HTH

Duncan

Hello

I need to get disk statistic on HP-UX. I have checked iostat, sar -d, pstat and there is nowhere separate statistic for read and write operation. There are only statistic for read/write operation together.
Is there any possibility to get separate statistic for read and write operation on HP-UX without using Glance?

If you have them licensed you can use glance or performance agent.

If not with 11.31 sar includes:

sar -H 1 10

I need monitor several HP-UX 11.11 and 11.23 without Glance.
Moreover, there is no business reason for buying Glance or Performance Agent license only for getting disks' statistics.

Hi,
Glanceplus or PA would be best. You can monitor not only disk but whole lot of system performance metrics.
I am not able to find a tool like iostat to get the statistics you are looking for.
Rgrds,
Muru
