SMH Service always stopping...

the SMH sercie is always getting stopped automatically.

smhstartconfig:

autostart off
automatic startup on boot mode on
Start Tomcat when HP SMH starts off

I want to keep the SMH service always started, please advice???

Please advice wither I can update the crontab to include the hpsmh autostart command?

Which port do you connect to?

IIRC you always to to connect to port 2301 first, the process is listening there, then you will be redirected.

What I know that when are you accessing the SMH of one server from HP SIM, it used port 2381 after that the hp-ux box activate the listener port 2301 to give the access to the SMH.

No, it is the other way around. It is listening to port 2301 (http) and forward to 2381 (https).

Once you login to SMH in the upper right hand corner of that GUI, there is a check box...click on it and your SMH session will not expire.

That will keep it running on your server, because generally it only runs when the process is requested.
