      <description>nfs works. Its only that some applications that run on nfs mounted systems get hanged when the error comes.</description>

      <description>Hi Subentu ..&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You need to detail your problem. So we could undertand exacly were could be the error.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;So you need to tell. What is your server ( model o.s. name ) What is your client ( model o.s. name ).&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The NFS hangs ( start now or always have this strange bievior ) .&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Please post more details then maybe we can help.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;With that information, I advice to do a restart to the NFS services and see if the problem maintains.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Angelo Sousa.</description>

      <description>Hi Subentu,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;From your logs I think it's a stale NFS which you get in every now and then, and then it comes back. Check your network connection to that NFS server, maybe the flapping is there. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards,&lt;BR /&gt;Viktor</description>
