    <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I found what I have to do. But my current problem is the nofiles values shows for CDE enviornment. I already put all value in .dtprofile. But it shows correct for all value except nofiles.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Any idea ?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Aungshu</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I know how to change ulimit value in commnad line. But when I logout this value is vanish. &lt;BR /&gt;Can anyone help how to set the below ulimit value unlimited permantly by changing profile:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;# ulimit -a&lt;BR /&gt;time(seconds)        unlimited&lt;BR /&gt;file(blocks)         unlimited&lt;BR /&gt;data(kbytes)         1048576&lt;BR /&gt;stack(kbytes)        8192&lt;BR /&gt;memory(kbytes)       unlimited&lt;BR /&gt;coredump(blocks)     4194303&lt;BR /&gt;nofiles(descriptors) 4096&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Aungshu&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Just add your ulimit commands in ~/.profile, it will effective upon login.</description>

      <description>&amp;gt;But it shows correct for all value except nofiles.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;CDE is probably using dtksh, which seems to work.&lt;BR /&gt;If using ksh, you need to invoke "/usr/bin/ulimit -a"</description>
