File sync

Hi Masters,

I have source and destiantion file.
Source file getting new content at regular interval i want to keep update only new content of source file to destination file without over writing.

Kindly suggest any script or tool to achive this.

There is file system sync in HP-UX;

sync OR syncer

if they meet your requirements.

you probably need to use rsync
there are various options avaialbe on rsync to do what u want.
man rsync
