      <description>Hi ! I greet all participant of HP forum!&lt;BR /&gt;I'd like to use the ALC.&lt;BR /&gt;I installed on my machine /HP UX 11.0/ the new&lt;BR /&gt;JFS / B3929CA JFS 3.3 Filesystem For 11.0 /. It w. succesed.&lt;BR /&gt;I think there are some missing steps in my following procedure:  /as root/&lt;BR /&gt;1. mkdir /d1/d2&lt;BR /&gt;2. cd /d1/d2&lt;BR /&gt;3. touch file1    and  chmod 600 file1&lt;BR /&gt;Ther is a user tomi. I'd like that for tomi&lt;BR /&gt;the "file1" have to bee read and write.&lt;BR /&gt;Have I to give acl privileg to the /d1/d2  ??&lt;BR /&gt;After that : chacl 'tomi.% +r ' file1   causes&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Function is not available (errno=251)&lt;BR /&gt;Wha do I ???&lt;BR /&gt;This procedure in HFS filesystem work correctly.&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks in adv.&lt;BR /&gt;Tam??s</description>

      <description>standard ACL's do NOT work on JFS file systems. You need to use the new JFS ACL commands, setacl  and getacl, but these will only work on the JFS3.3 file systems.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
