      <description>&amp;gt;&amp;gt;what are the other options of backup in 11.31.&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;gt;Ignite is major option in 11.31.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Ignite is NOT a backup tool.  It is a system recovery tool, designed to give you a bootable recovery image that can be used to re-build your system in a disaster situation.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;As to true backup options, I believe you should still have tar and fbackup and dd and all the other old standbys, just (apparently) no menu based method of invoking them.  Time to hit the man pages!&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I also believe that SAM invoked fbackup so that would probably be most familiar for you.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Pete</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;For backup and recovery you can use ignite.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;For data backup you can use tar&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;or fbackup.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You can create menu based backup option by customizing sam.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Chandra&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
