DataDirect Connect for ODBC Problem Installation

Dear All,

When i try to install the DataDirect Connect ODBC on vpar "rp8420 HP-UX 11.23" this error appears
"
# ksh unixmi.ksh
Progress DataDirect Connect for ODBC Setup is preparing....

English has been set as the installation language.

Log file : /tmp/logfile.18245.1
unixmi.ksh[2613]: etc/lic/makelich: cannot execute
The Connect64 Product Setup is incompatible with the Kernel currently running on this machine."

How i can solving this problem?

Note: the HP C/aC++ Developer it's installed

Does this file exist and what's its permissions? What does "file etc/lic/makelich" show?

Hi,

yes this file available and this is the Permission

-rwxrwxrwx 1 1269 800 243504 Aug 10 20:06 makelich

and this file is empty when using vi to open it.

Then it must be a binary file, not a script.
Again, what does this show: file makelich

There is no "also" here, it's the same file. Also you showed that file having 243504 bytes, so it can't be empty.

Again, use the file(1) command on that file"
