Currently, I want to install hpux 11 into my k460 (10.20) unix box. Currently this system is non-use and should I remove all the files inside all file system before cold install. If yes, then how to remove all the items in the unix before I start to install fresh hpux 11. Thanks.

rm -rf * ??

Hi:

A cold-install overwrites the boot disk. There is no need to remove anything beforehand. Simply boot from the core CDROM and select your target disk.

Regards!

...JRF...
