      <description>Hi Team  &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt; I have rx2660 box being installed hpux v3. This is getting delay to boot and being stuck in the sendmail starting.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Also, SAM also doesn't load . Both were happened same time due to some bad configuration.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Hence, please let me know where can be the issue is?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Also, let me know how to disable sendmail permanently while it is booting.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards&lt;BR /&gt;Nirukshitha</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Change the sendmail startup variables to 0 in file "/etc/rc.config.d/mailservs". I.e.:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;export SENDMAIL_SERVER=0&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Maybe you have some bad configured hostname or network settings in "/etc/rc.config.d/netconf".&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards,</description>

      <description>edit the file&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;/etc/rc.config.d/mailserv &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;change the parameter from 1 to 0&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;export SENDMAIL_SERVER=1&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;it will not start the sendmail after boot.</description>

Yes, one might be able to work around that by using the remote VGA console and a local browser but if name resolution is fubar it may still be "difficult."&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
