    <description>I have the following problem. In the output of top i have:&lt;BR /&gt;CPU............IDLE....&lt;BR /&gt; 0             66.3% &lt;BR /&gt;....&lt;BR /&gt;15             10.0% &lt;BR /&gt;---     -----  -----&lt;BR /&gt;avg           100.0%&lt;BR /&gt;The average is always 100%. Why ?&lt;BR /&gt;I using HP-UX 11.00 64 Bit.&lt;BR /&gt;Thank's in advance .&lt;BR /&gt;Riccardo &lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>&amp;gt;What does glance report&lt;BR /&gt;The glance report is correct (Idle avg=23%). Only top is crazy and after running for few day. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;bye Ric.</description>

      <description>There is a previous forum issue about top command producing inaccurate output, in the last 2 weeks or so.       <description>hi,  &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;  Given its buggy output, TOP should be renamed as BOTTOM.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;  Top is not totally reliable.  Use glance or sar to get the info you want.  &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;HTH&lt;BR /&gt;raj</description>
