      <title>NFS problem</title>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;i have the following nfs problem:&lt;BR /&gt;my nfs server is on a hpux 11.11.&lt;BR /&gt;i have two nfs exported files (let's say /a and /b)&lt;BR /&gt;they are mounted from different lvol on the server.&lt;BR /&gt;these nfs directories are the home directory for the nis accounts which has a server in another box.&lt;BR /&gt;this is where i do not understand:&lt;BR /&gt;- on /b and can login and can su to any user that has a home directory on /b&lt;BR /&gt;- on /a i cannnot do anything, if i try to su - user-on-a it hangs and never gets the prompt back.&lt;BR /&gt;this problems happens when i go from hpux 11.31, 11.23, 11.11 and 11.0; HOWEVER, this does not happens when i go from any aix, solaris or linux machines.&lt;BR /&gt;i did try to stop/restart the server. even reboot the server.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;if you have any idea or clue of what is going on, please let me know.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;thank you,&lt;BR /&gt;./antonio/.</description>
