topic log in error in Operating System - HP-UX

log in error

Every time i login to the server, below error message appear.

Error:

Open Source Software has been installed on this system. See
/opt/OpenSource/etc/copyright
mail: permission denied!

I assume you only care about: mail: permission denied!

You need to check the permissions of the user's mailbox.
What does "ll $MAIL" show?

These messages probably come from your login profile, /etc/profile and .profile.

Talk to your system administrator about this message. It is not an error, it is just informational, and not very useful at all.

Again, talk to your system administrator. The permissions for /var/mail are probably wrong.
