"maxusers" ncallout,semmap not available in kernel

hi all,

As per oracle recommentation, i need to change few of the kernel parameters. i have checked the below paramates in hp-ux v 11.23 kernel which is not available. please add your suggestions.

maxuser
ncallout
semmap

Our servers areHP-UX 11.23 and 11.31 versions.

You can't see these kernel parameters (ncallout & sepmap ) because they have been deprecated at 11.23.

Even "maxusers' is also depreciated on 11.23

As manix said these kernel parameters are deprecated in 11.23.
but If you still want to use this you can create this using kctune -u

You should not worry about individual parameters.

Look for the TuneNTools Fileset. It is a fileset that changes a couple dozen standard kernel parameters for oracle right out of the box.

/opt/tuneserver/bin/tuneserver -v
