RTF Writer

I'm in need of a utility to run on HPUX 11.0 that converts plain text files to rtf files.

We have utilities running on VMS and OS/400 - but can't find one for HPUX.

Any suggestions would be most helpful.

Hi,

I know this isn't what you asked for (at all) but.... I've unearthed alot of utils that will convert TXT to HTML, maybe there is one to HTML to RTF. Also seen RTF > HTML but not the other way round. This link might be worth a look:

Hello Bruce,

You can write a small perl program using RTF::Document. Take a look at this link (http://search.cpan.org/doc/RRWO/RTF-Document-0.64/Document.pm). This is the class documentation for RTF::Document. The example can be easily adapted to fit your needs.
