Could someone please explain me wat is Microcode on Hp Servers, when it is to be updated, and how it can be upgraded??

There are sooo many different HP servers - what model do you have?

Almost each server "family" has a unique procedure to upgrade firmware (it is called firmware, not microcode).

Possible procedures, depends on server model:

- OS patch
- FTP
- USB image
- EFI file
- ISO image (remote)
- bootable CD-ROM
- HP SUM (new)
