Hi guys

I have an issue where after we add or modify users using SAM, the passwd file gets erased..meaning the home directories and the shell logins of users disappear...
any thoughts?

Hi,

You don't mention what OS your on, so
first I can suggest two things.

First have a look at the latest patches
for SAM. Until you install them, make
sure that you only add users through
the 'useradd' or 'usermod' commands. Of
course these programs could also have
the problem.
