mprotect_reduce_protid_on kernel parameter not shown

Dear Guru's,

Hi,

I am unable to get the above mention kernal parameter by issuing command kctune.

What i need to install for this to appear in kernel. i must have to change its value.

PHKL_41507:
This patch is a member of a set of two patches, needed to disable the performance improvements provided by PHKL_39901 and PHKL_39902 by default.

They also provide a new kernel dynamic tunable, mprotect_reduce_protid_on, to enable or disable them, as required. The patch, PHKL_41231, contains the core functionality and this patch, PHKL_41507, contains the man page for the dynamic tunable.

thanks for the reply. i have already instllled PHKL_39902 and PHKL_41002. but the parameter is not appearing. now whats the reason??

you need 11iV3 >=PHKL_41362 -11.31-1103 (PHKL_40130 works too - 11.31.1003)
or >=PHKL_39901 and PHKL_39902 on 11iv2 (11.23)

But it is advised to get the last replacements for those patches. 11.31 PHKL_41972
11.23 PHKL_41807 and PHKL_41231
