hi,

i want to use a syslog-ng server with my hp-ux clients. on my hp-ux servers are no syslog-ng.conf in /etc...but syslog-ng is installed.

has anyone a hp-ux customzied conf-file?

Do you have the version of syslog-ng that gets installed with DSAU?

If so, there is a wizard that helps you setup syslog-ng:

/opt/dsau/sbin/clog_wizard

This will create the syslog-ng.conf file for you.

See Chapter 3. It works whether you are using it in a cluster or not.
