      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;How to reset a vpar in hpux11iv3 OS machine model is rx 8460?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am unable to login to that particular vpar from MP CONSOLE.But it is showin that vpar is up and i am able to ping that particular vpar.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Please do needful.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Teja&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;You can do it&amp;nbsp; in two ways:&amp;nbsp; a &lt;SPAN class="docEmphStrong"&gt;hard reset&lt;/SPAN&gt; (the RS command from the GSP/console) or a &lt;SPAN class="docEmphStrong"&gt;soft reset&lt;/SPAN&gt; (the TC command from the GSP/console, invoking a system crashdump).&lt;BR /&gt;The –t option is a &lt;SPAN class="docEmphStrong"&gt;soft reset&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;#&lt;SPAN class="docEmphUl"&gt; vparreset -p vPar1 -t&lt;/SPAN&gt; Reset virtual partition vPar1? [n] &lt;SPAN class="docEmphUl"&gt;y&lt;/SPAN&gt; ﻿&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;so, the question why do you need to do this , a crashdump ? OR ?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
