    <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Have you done xhost on that system?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;same issue for xhost on HP-UX box, and this ip for my laptop 192.168.1.5. and i using ssh on putty&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;How about the permissions and ownership of: /etc/sam﻿ ?&lt;BR /&gt;root sys 96 Jul 12 08:14 rsam&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;i am using smh -r command to give other root user full access to a SMH, but when i try to use SMH from test user i facing this message.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;# smh&lt;BR /&gt;DISPLAY variable is not set. Starting the Text User Interface. Please wait...&lt;BR /&gt;the directory&amp;nbsp; /etc/sam/rsam must have the permission -rwx------&amp;nbsp; Exiting!&lt;BR /&gt;﻿&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;and when i set the display i facing this error message. &lt;FONT color="#FF0000"&gt;Now when i set the display i can't log in to SMH from root&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;# export DISPLAY=my_laptop_IP:0.0&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;# smh&lt;BR /&gt;/opt/hpsmh/lbin/samweb[140]: /opt/hpsmh/display: Cannot create the specified file.&lt;BR /&gt;Looking for a usable running browser...&amp;nbsp; &lt;FONT color="#FF0000"&gt;it's take a few minutes&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;/usr/contrib/bin/X11/xlsclients:&amp;nbsp; unable to open display "192.168.1.5:0.0"&lt;BR /&gt;ERROR: Unable to open display "192.168.1.5:0.0"&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Please paste the URL "http://uxserver:2301/" into a browser window.&lt;BR /&gt;﻿&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;and this is also happen when i try to use firefoxon root or other users&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;# firefox&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;/opt/firefox/firefox[221]: /.firefox-license: Cannot create the specified file.&lt;BR /&gt;Starting Firefox ...&lt;BR /&gt;(firefox-bin:1622): Gtk-WARNING **: cannot open display:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Please your support.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&amp;gt;I try to change the permission to 777 but the same issue.﻿&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The message said it had to be 700:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;the directory&amp;nbsp; /etc/sam/rsam must have the permission -rwx﻿&lt;/P&gt;</description>
