      <description>&lt;P&gt;one of hp unix server rebooted unexpectedly﻿.after rebooting i found out 4 cpu only 3 cpu is available(verified throgh&amp;nbsp; machinfo and top command).pls tell me what is the command used to verify this ? (MP console&amp;nbsp; command menu.)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;My server model is rx6600 and running with&amp;nbsp; 11i v3.There is no crash dump generated and the reboot is is not updated in the /etc/shutdownlog file.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks in advance......&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Rajeesh&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>You should review the MP logs for a message related to disabled CPU or even do a "info all" from EFI shell.</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Since you state the that system rebooted unexpectedly and you confirmed that a CPU is deconfigured, I would suspect that CPU as faulty and would not advise you to configure it again (unless you want another crash).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Likely there is an mca entry under /var/tombstones with the date and time of the reboot.&amp;nbsp; If you have a support contract with HP, send them this data to have it confirmed if you like.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;-Bob&lt;/P&gt;</description>
