HI,

This is ignite Hp-ux server, after rebooting the server , at initialize software distributor agent daemon....server has got hanged and it is not moving further ahead ??? please help me i am new to HP-UX...

The boot will still progress but it will come up as [fail] after some time, for that daemon if there is an issue.

If it has booted what does it say in the /etc/rc.log ?

You seem to have several networking errors in your startup:

Checking user database ....................................... FAIL *    
Configure LAN interfaces ..................................... FAIL *
Configure LAN interfaces for IPv6 ............................ FAIL *

The system must be able to find itself with networking for swagentd to work.

You need to boot in single use mode and fix it.

You may be able to abort the hung step by control-\, SIGQUIT.
