      <description>Hello,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Install the ignite utility which has the make_tape_recovery command, after installation issue the following commmand:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;#make_tape_recovery -x inc_entire=vgxx -I -v -a /dev/rmt/omn&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Where vgxx is your Volume Group, you can add if you have vg00, vg01.       <description>Make sure you shut down all open databases, Oracle, Informix, etc prior to making the image.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Certain database programs do not support being imaged in this fashion when using raw disk partitions.  Software AG's adabase comes to mind.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;SEP</description>
