whats LDAP ? Why user LDAP ?? and how to configure this in HP-UX?

Hi Govinda,

LDAP is the naming service. Yes! you can
configure LDAP in HPUX system.

goto :
http://docs.hp.com/cgi-bin/search
and enter "+LDAP +overview" into the search.
Then select your version of OS from the results and you will find lots of documents.
For example:
