Error on Create Depot Patch

Hi Guys,

I downloaded some patches for our machine but when i tried to execute the create_depot_hp-ux_11 script i am getting this errors:

root@cds_dev[/tmp/Oracle10g]#./create_depot_hp-ux_11
DEPOT: /tmp/Oracle10g/depot
BUNDLE: BUNDLE
TITLE: Patch Bundle
UNSHAR: y
PSF: depot.psf
Expanding patch shar files...
ERROR: Shar file not found for patch PHSS_32502.

No valid SD installable patch found. Exiting...

Please help me solve this one...

Hi

Try downloading the patch again.It seems to be corrupt

See this sample execution of create_depot_hp-ux_11

99 times out of 100, this problem is caused by incomplete download.

I personally find the ftp script method of patch download the most reliable.

Please try the download again and monitor it to make sure it finishes.

Hi Guys...

Thanks for the replies..i alreadt resolved this problem. Its not a corrupted file after all. The problem was FTP mode of transfer....Apparently, i was using ASCII but when i reverted to binary all went well...
