    <description>The DUPLEX is wrong.  Try deleting the value 0x0060B.... and adding =FULL.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Hope this helps.&lt;BR /&gt;B</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;have found an error in /etc/rc.log:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Configure HP GSC 100BT interfaces&lt;BR /&gt;Output from "/sbin/rc2.d/S331hpgsc100 start":&lt;BR /&gt;----------------------------&lt;BR /&gt;ERROR: invalid duplex value for lan1 interface&lt;BR /&gt;ERROR: invalid duplex value for lan2 interface&lt;BR /&gt;-----------------------------------------------&lt;BR /&gt;/etc/rc.config.d/hpgsc100conf:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;HP_GSC100_INTERFACE_NAME[0]=lan1&lt;BR /&gt;HP_GSC100_STATION_ADDRESS[0]=0x0060B0C1B3EB&lt;BR /&gt;HP_GSC100_DUPLEX[0]=0x0060B0C1B3EB&lt;BR /&gt;HP_GSC100_SPEED[0]=100FD&lt;BR /&gt;HP_GSC100_INTERFACE_NAME[1]=lan2&lt;BR /&gt;HP_GSC100_STATION_ADDRESS[1]=0x0060B0C1B3EC&lt;BR /&gt;HP_GSC100_DUPLEX[1]=0x0060B0C1B3EC&lt;BR /&gt;HP_GSC100_SPEED[1]=100FD&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;###########################################################################&lt;BR /&gt;#  The HP_GSC100_INIT_ARGS are reserved by HP.       <description>Michael,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;It appears you have your station address in the duplex field.  I would blank out both entries - the station address should be picked up from the NIC itself rather than hard coding it and the duplex is already specified in the speed line (100FD).&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Pete</description>

      <description>Adding FULL - not necessary - it's already set to 100FD - you can check this with the lanadmin command to make sure it's running at 100FD - To view the current LAN setting: lanadmin -x 0&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;(where 0 is the card's instance or PPA number, found with lanscan).&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Blank out station address - not necessary - but recommended to avoid the possibility of duplicates in the future.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Pete&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
