      <description>Hi Guru,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Need some help, after i configured dns client ( using set_parms addl_netwrk ). I can't relogin back to the server via Reflection X software. The details error prompt up from the screen while accesing the server ;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The desktop messaging system could not started&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;To correct the problem&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt; 1 ) Choose [OK] to return to the login.&lt;BR /&gt;!2 ) Select failsafe session from the login screen's option menu and login &lt;BR /&gt; 3 ) Check to see that the desktop is properly installed, the hostname is correct ( /etc/hosts ) and that the network is properly configured.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;For additional information, see the CDE User Guide.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Info: &lt;BR /&gt;a ) Server Rp4440 - HPUX 11.11&lt;BR /&gt;b ) 4 Server - 2 Svr OK 2 Svr KO&lt;BR /&gt;c ) Is it any CDE file related to this matter that i need to modify ?&lt;BR /&gt;d ) Do try to disable the DNS Setting ( via /etc/resolv.conf )and relogin back,is OK no problem with the above msg.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Please help ...       <description>I believe you can try login in failsafe session. If you are successful then you can logout and login in normal mode without problems. &lt;BR /&gt;Or you can enter the name and IP number in your /etc/hosts. &lt;BR /&gt;The problem I experienced using my server connected to the internet is that the CDE login screen will appear and after I entered the Id and password it will appear like it is loggin in and then it will return to the login screen without any errors.&lt;BR /&gt;To resolve my problem I entered the WAN IP address and the WAN name in the /etc/hosts. Since then I did not have any problems login with Exceed&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I hope it helps.</description>
