Hello everyone.

Accidentally I change the owner of the root directory and now, I do not know which are the real ones. /etc, /bin, all of them... Can someone help me?

Boot in "single user" mode: while your server/workstation boots hit any key to interrupt the boot process then type "boot pri" to boot from your usual (primary) device and then "Y" when asked to interact with the IPL. When you get the IPL prompt type "hpux -is" to boot in single-mode. This way you will get access to everything and be able to do whatever repairs if needed.
Ultimately use a bootable CD-ROM if you are unable to boot from the disk no more.
