Hi,

I want to find all *.tmp and *.log files, how can I do it in just one find comand?

I've tried:

find /home -name *.log|*.tmp -print

But it doesn't work :(

You can try as,

find \( -name "*.log -o -name "*.log" \)

sorry for the previous reply. Correct one is,

find /home \( -name "*.tmp" -o -name "*.log" \)

hth.
