      <title>Secure Path shows failed paths</title>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;we had a SAN switch die last night and required a reboot. All HPUX systems recovered their paths ok, except the production server.&lt;BR /&gt;This is still showing FAILED paths:&lt;BR /&gt;  TGT/LUN   Device             WWLUN_ID             H/W_Path           #_Paths&lt;BR /&gt;    0/  0   c21t0d0            6005-08B4-0001-28E1-0001-2000-0008-0000   4&lt;BR /&gt;                                                    255/255/1/0.0&lt;BR /&gt;          Controller  Path_Instance      HBA             Preferred?  Path_Status&lt;BR /&gt;          P5849D5AAPE04P                                     YES&lt;BR /&gt;                      c35t0d1            fcd1            no           Standby&lt;BR /&gt;                      c29t0d1            fcd2            no           ****FAILED&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;          Controller  Path_Instance      HBA             Preferred?  Path_Status&lt;BR /&gt;          P5849D5AAPE03D                                     no&lt;BR /&gt;                      c37t0d1            fcd1            no           Active&lt;BR /&gt;                      c27t0d1            fcd2            no           ****FAILED&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;the san switch is now ok, how do I recover these paths?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;thansk, greg</description>

      <description>Greg,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Did you well do (patch management) your prod server through the secure path?&lt;BR /&gt;it seems still there is missing patches for&lt;BR /&gt;secure path software?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Tried various SP commands etc including turnign on load balancing. Nothing worked. System reboot fixed the problem</description>
