      <description>Alex,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;It has been my experience that fbackup works only on HPUX.  I do believe it is propietary&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>fbackups are in fbackup format.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;No it is not compatible with anything other than the HP-UX frecover tool.</description>

      <description>Hi Alessandro ,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;To take a fbackup with 0 level , execute :&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;# fbackup -0i /usr  -f /dev/rmt/0m&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;[ Where /dev/rmt/0m is device file name ,&lt;BR /&gt;i for include, e for exclude , 0 is the fbackup level ] &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;And to restore you have to use  frecover.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;And it is not compatible with other platform and will work with hp-ux only.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Cheers,&lt;BR /&gt;Raj.</description>
