      <description>Joe,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt; Yes! You can do it.&lt;BR /&gt;On the primary node, do&lt;BR /&gt;the vgextend;&lt;BR /&gt;Then once you are sure, it is set ok, do vgexport in preview mode and copy the map file to the secondary nodes.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;At the secondary node, vgexport the vg to blow away the old info  and do vgimport using the new map. (after creating the vgdir  and group)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;HTH&lt;BR /&gt;raj</description>
