combining two file.

Hi All ,

I have two file , file1 and file2 ASCII text file.

file1= 20 lines.
file2= 30 lines.

I want to combine the two file , one after another.

How I can do that.

cat file1 file2 > file3

or

cat file2 >> file1

cat is your best choice for appending one file to another. man cat

# cat file1 file2 > file3
# cat file3 ( you can find 50 lines )
